Polygon & Diamond Club New York Partner on Fall Trading Event

Polygon, a company of mdf commerce, and Diamond Dealers Club New York, member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, are pleased to announce a partnership to host an exclusive member trading event on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the Diamond Club in New York City.

Strategic Fit

Polygon, celebrating 40 years in the jewelry industry, is well-known for its retailer-focused offer in addition to its strong sense of community built on trust and integrity. The Diamond Dealers Club New York works primarily with diamond dealers and wholesalers.

Richard Wasserman of Wasserman Jewel Galleries in New York, long-time member of both Polygon and DDCNY, approached the groups to spearhead the idea.

“As a member of both organizations, I saw the fit,” says Wasserman. “We are always looking for ways to develop new business with reputable companies, and this event will help do just that.”

“The event just makes sense in that it will bring together retailers and dealers,” says Adam Small, Managing Director of DDCNY. “We’re happy to be able to provide our members these opportunities.”

Benefits Beyond the Event

The DDCNY will open up its club and facilities to registered attendees, who will include members of the New York club and other World Federation of Diamond Bourse Clubs, as well as Polygon members.

This is a rare opportunity for Polygon members and retail jewelers to enter the club and learn more about the inner workings of the New York diamond market. And for Club members, it is a great opportunity to connect with more vetted retailers and jewelry businesses.

Members of each organization will gain the opportunity to do business amongst each other with on-site trading. Beyond that, it will give members the potential to build new longer-term relationships with fellow trusted jewelers and dealers.

“We’re extremely excited about this partnership because it offers our members new opportunities and experiences that they might not otherwise have,” says Sean Lemire, General Director of Polygon. “Moreover, we strongly believe in the benefits of strengthening ties with other reputable organizations to keep our industry united and strong.”

Buying & Selling Opportunities

Expect to find everything from loose diamonds to estate jewelry, watches, colored stones and more on the show floor. While Polygon jewelers will benefit from new access to diamonds and other goods, members of the Club will also benefit from opportunities to buy over-the-counter goods from retailers. These events are also great for finding great deals and unique items.

The event will take place on Monday, October 28 at the Diamond Club offices – 50 W 47th St #11H, New York, NY.
